HONORS NOMINATION

Nomination Submission Deadline September 15, 2018

Please help us in nominating a worthy recipient for the inaugural United Martial Arts Referees Association (UMARA) Honors Award.

UMARA Honors Award has been established to celebrate positive contributions to the martial arts through giving of time, talent and treasures while demonstrating the moral standards and ethics that are core to the ethos of UMARA.

All nominations will be evaluated by the UMARA Board of Directors and one outstanding candidate will be chosen for the UMARA Honors Award.  Evaluation will be based strictly on the candidate’s body of work and contributions to the martial arts community at large.  UMARA Board of Directors will base their decisions for the award winner on information you provide.

IMPORTANT **There is no fee to nominate, you do not need to be a member of UMARA to nominate someone, you do not need to be a member of UMARA to be nominated.  Your martial arts body of work is the only criteria you will be evaluated on. **IMPORTANT

The selected recipient for 2018 will be notified and attendance at the 2018 UMARA Banquet will be gratis.

To nominate a candidate please fill out the attached form and provide all required information. The recipient of the award will be recognized at the UMARA Awards Banquet held at the Philadelphia Airport Clarion Hotel.
